1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RapDuo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. You must be at least 13 years old to use RapDuo.
2. Description of Service
RapDuo provides AI-assisted tools for creating short rap duo videos. Videos are generated from the photos, names, and stage settings you provide, and can be played and downloaded as video files.
3. Fair Use and Limits
Usage limits may apply to accounts and requests. Attempting to circumvent limits, scrape the service, or use it in an automated fashion without permission is prohibited.
4. Photos You Upload
- Only upload photos you have the right to use, and only photos of people who have agreed to appear in a generated video.
- You are responsible for obtaining consent from every person whose photo you upload. Creating videos that depict real people without their consent — including celebrities, public figures, or people you know — is not permitted.
- Do not upload photos of minors without the consent of a parent or guardian.
5. Your Content and Output
- You retain all rights to the content you submit (photos, names, stage choices).
- Subject to these terms and your credit balance, you may use the videos you generate for personal and commercial purposes.
- You are responsible for reviewing generated videos before use. AI-generated output may contain errors or resemble existing works; always review it before publishing or distributing it.
- Some platforms require disclosure of AI-generated content. You are responsible for complying with the policies of any platform where you publish or upload your videos.
- Videos you generate are kept in your account history so you can download them anytime. Deleting a generation or your account removes the associated video.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Generate content that is unlawful or infringes third-party rights
- Upload photos of people who have not consented to appear in a generated video, or create content that harasses, defames, or sexualizes any person
- Impersonate real artists or public figures, or pass off AI-generated content as human-made where disclosure is required
- Use the service to mass-produce content for fraudulent, deceptive, or spammy purposes
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract underlying models or algorithms
- Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
Violation may result in warning, suspension, or termination of your account at our discretion.
7. AI Processing
Generation requests are fulfilled using third-party AI model providers. Output quality is not guaranteed; regeneration may produce different results.
8. Intellectual Property
The RapDuo name, logo, website design, and software are owned by RapDuo and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you rights to our branding or software beyond normal use of the service.
9. Paid Plans and Refunds
Pricing and included usage for credit packs are stated at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by third-party providers (Stripe). Except where required by law, credits are non-transferable.
Refunds: You may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase. Refunds are subject to a processing fee charged by the payment gateway — we do not add any additional fees. To request a refund, contact support@rapduo.me. For EU/EEA users: by making a purchase and beginning to use credits, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge the loss of your statutory 14-day withdrawal right.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) one hundred US dollars ($100) or (b) the total amount you paid to RapDuo in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RapDuo and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from: (a) your violation of these terms; (b) your misuse of the service; (c) photos you upload without the right to use them or without the consent of the people depicted; or (d) content you submit that infringes third-party rights.
12. Changes and Termination
We may modify or discontinue features at any time. For material changes to these terms, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or a prominent notice on the service. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the operator's principal place of business. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
